i was just wondering, has any one of you guys/gals tell your car insurance company that you have changed/swapped your engine?
does your insurance go higher? (esp if its like a GS-R swap?)
another question, what kind of information can you get when getting a legit engine.
(papers etc.)
what kind of papers are they?

I've only asked once, and yes it does. But that was about a V-6 engine from an S-10 Extreme into a Base model LS S-10. It goes from around $40 a month to $75. So yes, but you don't have to tell them.
The only problem is if you get pulled over by one of, them there edumacated police officers, and have to plea - but I didn't know I had to if it was the same liter size engine? That may get you out of it. But they may here your exhuast and see the lowering on your car and still give you a hard time.

if a cop thinks your car is done up, they think your a street racer and pull your ass over..
im just wondering if anybody has done it legit
